How It Works

Our program is designed to provide you with a seamless and enjoyable experience of hatching chicks at home. Here’s how it works:

Step 1: Choose Your Kit

Browse our selection of hatching kits and choose the one that best fits your needs. We offer a variety of kits suitable for families, classrooms, and homesteaders.

Step 2: Book Your Kit

Once you’ve selected your kit, book it through our easy online booking system. Choose your preferred start date and location for kit pickup.

Step 3: Pick Up Your Kit

On your chosen start date, pick up your kit from the designated location. Our kits include everything you need for a successful hatching experience: an incubator, brooder box, heat lamp, fertile eggs, chick feed, waterer, feeder, bedding, and detailed instructions.

Step 4: Incubate the Eggs

Set up the incubator according to the included guide and place the eggs inside. Maintain the appropriate temperature and humidity levels as instructed. Our text message reminders will alert you about important stages like lockdown and hatch day.

Step 5: Hatch the Chicks

After the incubation period, watch as your chicks begin to hatch! This is an exciting time, and we provide support via text or WhatsApp to answer any questions you might have.

Step 6: Care for the Chicks

Transfer the newly hatched chicks to the brooder box included in your kit. Follow the care instructions provided to ensure the chicks stay warm and have plenty of food and water.

Step 7: Return or Keep the Chicks

At the end of the rental period, you can choose to keep the chicks or return them to the farm. If you decide to keep them, make sure you have the necessary equipment and follow local regulations.

Step 8: Return the Kit

Return the hatching kit in good condition to the designated location. If you need more time, you can extend your rental for an additional fee. (where/if available)
